Evidently reacting in part to past and possible Covid-related restrictions on attendance at team sports matches, two European team sports retail specialists have launched more ordinary clothing lines. Fùtbol Emotion, the Spanish sports equipment retailer headquartered in Zaragoza, has launched After 90, a new clothing line for football enthusiasts who want to wear comfortable sportswear off the pitch. Prices range from €30 for a T-shirt to €45 for a jacket. All the garments in the new line are made from 100 percent organic cotton and other recycled materials. Similarly, Unisport, the international Danish-based internet platform specializing in football products, has launched a new Unisport Everyday website for lifestyle sneakers and clothing being recommended as “every footballer’s wardrobe.” Fútbol Emotion has two 1,000-square-meter flagship stores in Barcelona and Madrid and a retail network of 20 stores, including own stores and franchises, across Spain and Portugal. Like Unisport of Denmark, which launched its first website in 2002, it is also offering its products globally via its e-commerce sites. Unisport has its own physical stores in Copenhagen, Paris and Stockholm.
