Zara has been selling some sports clothing in the past. This time, the international fast-fashion retailer owned by the Inditex group has decided to launch a full-fledged line of activewear for men under the Zara Athleticz (sic) label, starting on Sept. 30 on its web store and at selected physical stores. The items are said to have followed high sustainability criteria in terms of materials and manufacturing processes. They have been designed based on principles of simplicity, comfort and functionality. For the first half of this year, Inditex has reported a 49 percent increase in total revenues to €11.94 billion, although they were still 7 percent below the corresponding level of 2019. Online sales grew by 36 percent as compared to last year and by 137 percent as compared to two years ago.
