Until Thursday Sept. 30, the Decathlon store in London Surrey Quays will present the world premiere of Tennis eSports, in partnership with VR Motion Learning. Customers will have a chance to play realistic virtual reality (VR) tennis in the 300-square-meter space that the store has specially devoted to the experience. The in-store initiative was launched at the end of June, alongside the beginning of the iconic Wimbledon tennis tournament. Based in Vienna, VR Motion Learning utilizes new technologies such as virtual reality, machine learning, real-time full-body motion tracking and others. Its platform provides the basis for active eSports games and tournaments. Open for investment opportunities, it plans to diversify into other sports such as golf, baseball, basketball, and other domains such as physiotherapy, fitness, dancing, entertainment and many other applications.
