French retailer Kiabi has announced the launch of Ekstract, its new sportswear brand. The range caters to both men and women, although 70 percent of Ekstract’s products are womenswear. Children’s items may be added to Ekstract in the future. Kiabi previously sold some sportswear but the retailer’s design team has added technical content to create the Ekstract line.

Ekstract is designed for the everyday athlete and offers apparel in sizes from XS to XXXL. Prices start at €8 for a sports bra and reaching up to €25 for joggers, in line with with Kiabi’s positioning as an affordable fashion retailer. In addition to clothing, the Ekstract range features accessories such as kit bags, belt bags and hats.

Ekstract is simultaneously launching in stores across France, Belgium, Italy, Spain and Portugal, as well as on the Kiabi e-commerce site.

Kiabi generated revenues of €2.5 billion in fiscal 2025, marking an 8 percent growth, and 6 percent in like-for-like terms. The retailer operates approximately 650 stores across more than 30 countries. Half of Kiabi retail locations are in France.
