Fast Studios, a Los Angeles-based streaming venture studio, announced that the Women’s Sports Network is now officially live. Supported by 12 professional women’s sports leagues and associations, including the WNBA, LPGA, U.S. Ski & Snowboard and Athletes Unlimited, the Women’s Sports Network is the one-stop shop for the best in women’s sports.

The first-of-its-kind hub will showcase content from women’s sports while creating more commercial opportunities for female athletes, their leagues and the industry as a whole. The Women’s Sports Network is currently available in the U.S. across multiple streaming platforms, including Amazon Freevee, FuboTV, LG Channels, Local Now, Plex, Sports.tv, Tubi and Xumo.

The channel’s flagship show, Game On, provides fans with the latest women’s sports news, hot topics and sports pop culture content. Hosted by former Harlem Globetrotter and social influencer Crissa Jackson, sports reporter Taylor Felix, coach and sports influencer Jenna Bandy and sports reporter and producer Jess Lucero, the show includes a “fourth chair” where female athletes, commissioners and women’s sports influencers are interviewed.

According to a recent study by the University of Southern California and Purdue University, only 5 percent of all sports coverage focuses on women’s sports. However, interest in women’s sports continues to grow, as does interest in stories off the field.

The Women’s Sports Network is supported by a variety of major leagues that have come together for the first time to advance women’s sports. Founding leagues and content partners include the Women’s National Basketball Association, Athletes Unlimited, Goodsport/Empower Onyx, Ladies Professional Golf Association, Octagon, Premier Hockey Federation, Quattro Media, Street League Skateboarding, U.S. Ski & Snowboard, United States Golf Association, Women’s Football Alliance and World Surf League. The goal of the partnership is for the Women’s Sports Network to drive growth by providing league partners with more opportunities to build their brands.

Founded in 2021 by media innovator Stuart McLean, Fast Studios is a team of experienced marketers, programmers and media executives. Along with McLean, Carol Stiff, who is an inductee into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame, a 30-year veteran of ESPN and chairs the Women’s Sports Network board of advisors, oversees the Women’s Sports Network. In addition to Stiff, the Women’s Sports Network board of advisors includes some of the most influential figures in the industry.
