Warrior Sports has announced that a Maryland federal judge recently issued an injunction prohibiting Under Armour, Neal Goldman, Jenny Levy, and Vertical Lax from utilizing Warrior Sports' confidential documents and related information in their possession. The company, which is owned by New Balance, alleges that its own 2011-12 business plan and other confidential information were found on Under Armour's computer system. The injunction follows a lawsuit filed in April alleging that Goldman and Levy , two former Warrior employees who are currently employed by Under Armour and its licensee, Vertical Lax, respectively, breached their employment agreements with Warrior. The recruitment of Goldman and Levy coincided with Under Armour's announced effort to enter the lacrosse equipment market, where Warrior is a strong player. More recently, on Sept. 5, Warrior filed another lawsuit against Under Armour alleging patent infringement in the design of its lacrosse gloves.
