Crew Clothing has secured an exclusive performance apparel deal with iPadel, the UK’s leading padel league operator, positioning the British lifestyle and sportswear brand within one of the country’s fastest-growing participation sports.
Under the agreement, announced Feb. 16, Crew will supply staff apparel across iPadel’s Winter and Summer Leagues. The deal covers technical performance wear drawn from Crew’s Sport collection, which the brand says is engineered for high-intensity movement through breathable, sweat-wicking fabrics and ergonomic construction.
Padel’s UK numbers make the commercial logic clear
The partnership comes as padel continues its rapid rise in the UK. The sport now has more than 400,000 active participants (source: LTA Padel, 2025), with a further 8.2 million Britons expressing interest in trying it—figures that place the UK amongst the fastest-growing padel markets in Europe. Padel has expanded rapidly through dedicated indoor and canopied facilities, as well as through established tennis club infrastructure.
Why apparel brands are paying attention to padel
For sporting goods and apparel brands, padel presents an unusual opportunity: a sport growing fast enough to generate commercial interest, but still early enough that category positions remain open. Deals like this one—smaller in scale but strategic in positioning—follow a broader pattern. Mid-tier British sportswear brands are aligning themselves with participation growth stories rather than competing for headline sponsorships.
