With its octagonal shape, the Cybershape 1.3K Ultra LW model delivers a 20 percent larger sweet spot.
Swedish Stiga Sports continues its focus on octagonal racquets, a collection called Cybershape, which received a sales boost from Truls Möregård’s Olympic silver medal in table tennis for Sweden in 2024. Stiga Sports makes all kinds of racquets but is opting to introduce a new octagonal one designed for kids: the Cybershape 1.3K Ultra LW.

Weighing only about 320 grams, the new model is designed to balance power and precision, according to the brand. It has an extended grip, which provides increased stability and control. Like other Cybershape racquets, it has a 20 percent sweet spot and, the company says, a 12 percent reduction in air resistance.
