In the first quarter of 2026 Kelme will be centralizing operations in Alicante province, Spain, according to Diffusion Sport. The Spanish sportswear brand will be opening a new warehouse – to serve Europe and Latin America – at the Parque Empresarial de Torrellano. It will also be moving its logistics from Xest (Valencia), to a new place by its longtime headquarters, in Elche (Alicante) – a few kilometers from the new warehouse.
Kelme will thereby gain space and a chance to automate its warehousing.
Kelme is at present owned primarily by three entities: Abordador Capital (Luxembourg), Riva y García Financial Group (Barcelona) and Inverama (Girona). The latter two hold undisclosed stakes. Abordador has in the past two years raised its stake to 40 percent, after capital injections amounting to about €4.5 million. It has also secured the company’s presidency and a presence on its board.
Kelme came under Chinese control in 2019, when Kelme Sports Products (formerly Jinjiang Yuanxiang) purchased a stake of 80 percent. This has since been diluted, but the brand retains numerous ties to China. Jingsourcing.com has been reporting since as least 2023 that Kelme farms out more than 90 percent of its manufacturing to an OEM in Jinjiang, and the brand currently sponsors nine teams in China League One. Kelme recently signed a five-year deal to sponsor the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) through 2029.
Back in Europe Kelme sponsors RCD Espanyol (La Liga), Watford FC (Premier League) and Industrias Santa Coloma (futsal).
