Located across from Central Park in the Upper West Side of New York, Arc’teryx Equipment has just opened a newly rebranded micro-store concept called Arc’type, centered around the brand’ s most renowned designs. It features a curated selection of just 22 items, ”specifically selected to help introduce guests to Arc’teryx and exemplify the most appreciated and versatile products.” Originally referred to as ”Icon Stores,” the curated, neighborhood-focused concept will now be known as Arc’type. The new store of about 80 square meters joins four other Arc’teryx shops in New York, including the Arc’teryx Factory Outlet in Woodbury, the Arc’teryx brand store in Soho and the two Arc’type (formerly also named Icon Stores) shops in the West Village and the Flatiron District. It is the 21st retail store of the Canadian brand in the U.S.
