Canada Goose has appointed Jess Johannson as chief human resources officer. In this role, she will be responsible for the company’s human resources strategy across corporate, manufacturing and retail. Johannson will oversee all global teams within human resources, including talent acquisition, employee experience, training and global policy. She joins Canada Goose from Tucows, an Internet services and telecommunications company headquartered in Toronto, where she served as chief people officer. Previously, she held similar positions in various industries, including Capgemini, Brookfield Renewable Energy Group, Johnson Controls and Business Development Bank of Canada. For Dani Reiss, chairman and CEO, the new appointment is an opportunity for the company to bring ”more of Canada Goose to the world” as it continues to grow and expand globally.
