Michael Aragon is to become the CEO of Mirror and Lululemon Digital Fitness on Jan. 17. He will be overseeing the development and expansion of Mirror’s digital platform and report to Lululemon’s CEO, Calvin McDonald. For the past five years Aragon has been chief content officer at Twitch, the livestreaming service owned by Amazon. Before then he was a general manager at another video streamer, now called Crunchyroll, and vice president and general manager of global digital video and music services at PlayStation and Sony Network Entertainment.

Lululemon acquired Mirror in July 2020 for €500 million. The fitness platform’s founder, Brynn Putnam, resigned as CEO in September of last year but is serving as an advisor through July. In the interim Mirror has operating under a trio of executives: Tess Hales, head of customer; Olivia Lange, head of operations; and Kristie D’Ambrosio-Correll, chief technology officer.

In the meantime, Mirror has been embroiled in patent infringement suits with Peloton and, most recently, Nike.
