Fashion Network reports that Lululemon has appointed Jonathan Cheung as its new Global Creative Director. In this role, Cheung will oversee the company’s design team and report directly to Chief Product Officer Sun Choe. Primarily, Cheung will be tasked with shaping Lululemon’s global strategy, with a specific focus on creating a roadmap for product design that reflects an “inspiring creative vision.”

With over 30 years of experience in creative leadership, Cheung brings a wealth of expertise to the role. His previous work includes collaborations with brands such as Gap, Merrell and Pangaia, and he has served as the senior vice president of design at Levi’s.

In conjunction with Cheung’s appointment, Lululemon has also chosen JJ Collier as their new Vice President of Design of Outerwear. This strategic move signals Lululemon’s commitment to elevating its creative direction and design efforts under the leadership of these experienced professionals.
