Ispo has released a study of the rapidly changing perception of the traditional sports sector among consumers in the German-speaking countries, based on a survey of more than 3,500 sporting goods consumers between the ages of 16 and 79. The digitalization process and the issue of sustainability are influencing their attitudes. The practice of playing sports is changing, too. The study also analyzes the perception and actual positioning of more than 100 sports and outdoor brands. Prepared by Ispo in collaboration with Konzept & Markt, the Sports Evolution Report is aimed at top decision-makers, brand and marketing managers, visual merchandise managers and retail and wholesale buyers, helping them to determine market positioning and granting a new perspective into differentiation and market potential. The conclusions are related to specific segments and are linked to extensive descriptions of consumer typologies and target group structures. Available in German or English, it can be ordered from Ispo's web store for €2,320 including VAT.
