Arena has presented a new beachwear collection and collaboration with The Woolmark Company. The new product line for spring/summer 2024 was exhibited for the first time at the Pitti Uomo fashion show in Florence on June 13-16 in a special installation at the Giardino del Glicine. Each piece uses a special Merino wool fabric with technical and performance qualities. Arena, celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, hired Quintin Michael Donders as head of beachwear six months ago. Donders previously worked at Timberland, Lotto and other sportswear and lifestyle brands. Olympic swimmers Nicolò Martinenghi and Bruno Fratus are both involved in showcasing the new swimwear collection. Arena is owned by Swiss investment fund Capvis.
