Following its launch in the U.K. and Ireland, the Ergatta Rower will be available in Europe from Oct. 21, first in the DACH region at Waterrower|Nohrd and its brand stores for EUR 2,995.00. New York-based game-based fitness company Ergatta was founded in 2020. To use Ergatta’s software and thus gain access to gamified workouts, a monthly subscription of EUR 34.95 is required. When signing up for an annual subscription, members will receive one month free. Ergatta is also available as an upgrade kit for all woods in the Waterrower|Nohrd range.
Ergatta employs the basic principles of gamification, personalization and real-time performance feedback to provide the most performance sports training experience possible. Instead of just following videos or trainers, users choose from structured workouts in gaming form. Ergatta calibration allows to personalize the workout, automatically and continuously adapting to the user’s progress to keep workouts challenging enough. The company promises to constantly evolve with new features regularly as well as unlocking at least 5 new workouts per week.
The Ergatta Rower is one of the best-selling products from the U.S. rower manufacturer and features an overall dynamic design in American cherry wood from renewable forests. Further, the Rower is characterized by the monitor mount and 17” high-resolution touchscreen. The device has a length, width and height of 219 x 59 x 57 cm each, with a weight of 35kg. The rower takes up about as much space as a chair when in an upright position.
