Erreà Sport has been chosen as an official supplier of the Uefa Kit Assistance Scheme for Europe’s national associations. The partnership will run from 2022 to 2026. Uefa’s Kit Assistance Scheme, which has been in operation since 2007, is part of the European football federation’s support of national teams. Its partnership with the Italian team-sports company will benefit especially small and medium-size national associations with insufficient bargaining power to negotiate with kit suppliers, said Uefa. These associations will get the kits and other training wear for their senior and U-21 teams free of charge from Uefa, based on voluntary participation and actual need. The associations that benefit from Uefa’s Kit Assistance Scheme will be fully involved in kit design with Erreà. The Italian supplier of football uniforms, based near Parma, in Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region, was selected for this partnership through a tender process that looked at criteria such as price, quality, kit personalization, range, merchandising opportunities and logistics. Erreà, which was founded in 1988, is a family-owned company, and is currently working with over 300 clubs and associations around the world in a variety of sports. Erreà has obtained Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification on all articles. The company has recently integrated the antiviral and antibacteric fabric Ti-Energy.
