Inspecs, a major U.K.-based eyewear supplier that recently went public, has agreed a new “long-term” license agreement for eyewear with O’Neill, the international surf and snowwear brand. The companies have been working together since 2013 and no further details on the length of the renewal were released. As part of O’Neill’s sustainability initiatives, Inspecs recently created a frame for the brand called Wove, made from recycled ghost fishing nets with mineral glass lenses and recycled rubber touchpoints. The material for the case of the sunglasses is also derived from recycled plastic bottles. The retail price for Wove is €119.
