The International Padel Federation (FIP), the Italian Tennis Federation (FIT) and Italy’s government sports agency (Sport e Salute) have signed a multi-year deal to establish Italy’s first majors tournament for pádel. The event is part of the world’s new official circuit, Premier Padel, under the management of FIP, the Professional Padel Association (PPA) and Qatar Sports Investments (QSI). The first edition is scheduled for May 23-29 in Rome. This year’s three other majors are in Qatar (March), France (July 11-17) and Mexico (Nov. 28 to Dec. 4).
