Macron has announced a new five-year agreement with the Georgia Rugby Union, which replaces the Union’s previous deal with Canterbury. Georgia’s national team is an emerging force in the European rugby panorama. It boasts 12 successes in the Rugby Europe International Championship, 14 Antim Cups (direct international challenges between Georgia and Romania) and four participations at the World Cup. Under the terms of the new agreement, Macron will provide game kits and technical gear for the national teams of the Union: the major National, the seven National, the women’s team and the youth division. The tailor-made and exclusive kits are designed to exalt the colors, symbols and traditions of the Georgian national team, Macron said.
