Macron has announced a new technical apparel partnership with Port Adelaide FC, the Australian rules football club based in Alberton, South Australia. The Italian sportswear brand will replace ISC Sports, which has been the club’s apparel technical partner since 2013. Macron’s new four-year deal with Port Adelaide, which will start in 2021, also marks Macron’s entry into the Australian Football League (AFL). Macron, based near Bologna, Italy, is the kit provider of more than 80 clubs and national teams in a variety of sports, including football, rugby, basketball, baseball, volleyball, handball, futsal, running and now also Australian rules football. The Macron’s Port Adelaide range is expected to arrive in Australia in January. Port Adelaide FC was founded in 1870. The club’s 150th anniversary logo, which was introduced this year, will also be featured in the new apparel range for 2021 and beyond.
