UYN, the Italian brand of performance clothing whose name stands for “Unleash Your Nature” has signed a partnership with the luxury car specialist Bugatti for a compact line of co-branded clothing and footwear. UYN, which is part of the Trerè Innovatio group, will produce all the 11 items of the “UYN for Bugatti” collection at its own factory in Asola, Italy. The design and development of the line was conducted at UYN’s own “academy” for research and engineering in apparel and sport. The Bugatti C line of cars is a visible source of inspiration for the line, reinterpreted by UYN in jackets and shirts with a C-shaped shoulder design that follows the shoulder blade profile. In the shoes, which are made of 3D-knit fabric with zero seams, the C-shaped element has been integrated as a ventilation system into the upper half. Using black, white and the corporate Bugatti blue color, UYN pays homage to the French-based company’s racing heritage.
