NURVV Run, the six-year-old, London-based developer of running wearables, has received an award for funding and intensive mentoring for its next phase of research on smart insoles from the creative R&D program of Business of Fashion, Textiles and Technology (BFTT). As a result, it will have access this year and next to a part-time researcher, project management and strategic business support. BFTT, a five-year-old, industry-led project, has already helped 35 small and medium-sized enterprises. It received this time more than 140 applications, of which only 15 were shortlisted and ten selected for this year’s awards.
