The Pro Padel League (PPL) will have its inaugural championship broadcast on television. The league has come to an agreement with the U.S. pay TV network CBS Sports, which will film the final match and air it about two weeks later, on June 22.

The PPL was itself inaugurated last August and operates in North America. Its first season began on May 13, with the championship series slated for June 10-11. There are seven teams: Toronto, San Diego, Miami, Cancun, Los Angeles, Arkansas and Las Vegas. At the moment, Miami is on top, undefeated in three matches, and Toronto is at the bottom, with no victory in four.
