Roger Federer’s 2018 Australian Open match worn and signed outfit

Prestige Memorabilia announced an auction of tennis memorabilia culminating in an exclusive piece of tennis history: Roger Federer’s match-worn outfit from his landmark 20th Grand Slam victory at the 2018 Australian Open. The win was the last major title of his legendary career, and the outfit is expected to fetch up to $35,000. The auction opens on Sept. 20 and will end on Oct. 8.

The auction offers tennis enthusiasts and collectors worldwide a rare opportunity to acquire an authentic piece of sports history from Federer’s incredible career. After the historic match, the emotional Swiss player said, “It’s a dream come true, and the fairytale continues.” The ensemble, a custom-made creation by Nike, is as unique as the champion himself. Featuring custom lettering and two certificates of authenticity from the Roger Federer Foundation, it ensures authenticity and a connection to the monumental tournament.

The highlighted lot includes the autographed shirt worn in the match and the autographed shorts worn in the match. Nike’s items were tailored to Federer and feature the words “Custom Athlete.” Other items from Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Carlos Alcaraz and Serena Williams will also be available in the auction.
