Sport England has worked together with the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA) to produce a Digital Marketing Hub, a free training program in digital marketing made available to the sport and physical activity sector. The new hub is meant to “fill a gap in the digital skills of the sport and physical activity sector,” the governing body said. The Digital Marketing Hub has been developed using £450,000 (around €524,400) of National Lottery funding. It will be delivered by CIMSPA, using learning content provided by a consortium of partners. In addition to short modules and a live webinar series, the hub will offer peer networking opportunities. The project is part of Sport England’s ongoing efforts to help the sector recover from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
