Italian sporting goods retailer Cisalfa has inaugurated a new flagship store in Sona, near Verona. With a surface of 2,500 sqm, it is Cisalfa’s fifth largest store in Italy, after Gugliasco, Brescia, Porta di Roma and Roma Eur. The new store, which sells products from over 100 brands, represents an investment of €750,000 and employs 35 people. The retailer is planning more store openings in 2024.
Cisalfa has recently signed an agreement to acquire German retailer Sport Voswinkel GmbH by the end of 2023. Sport Voswinkel, founded in 1904, is based in Dortmund and currently operates 50 sporting goods stores throughout Germany.
