Decathlon has opened its 17th store in Morocco in the city of Casablanca. It is also the fourth Decathlon store in Casablanca alone and the French chain’s largest store on the African continent. The new 3,000-square-meter store sells clothing and equipment for more than 60 different sports. It features a Decath’Club, where customers can participate in team sports, and a “Pause Diet” where they can purchase nutritional products. The megastore is also set to host a shop-in-shop that will allow customers to buy products from sports brands other than those of Decathlon. The new store is located at Ain Diab, a commune in the city’s fashionable Corniche coastline area. Morocco also hosts a continental distribution center and some production facilities for Decathlon. Elsewhere in Africa, Decathlon has stores in Algeria, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Ghana, the Ivory Coast, Kenya, Senegal and South Africa,
