Gymshark, the UK-based athleticwear brand, will open its first-ever U.S. flagship store on Dec. 13 at 11 Bond Street in Manhattan’s NoHo district. The three-floor, 13,000-square-foot space is designed as a tribute to New York City, blending retail with community engagement.

The flagship features a Liberty Green color scheme and design elements inspired by the city’s heritage, including cash registers housed in subway car replicas and tickers displaying news and offers—a nod to its proximity to the Financial District. Exclusive merchandise will be available through “bespoke bodegas,” and a custom “pizza weight plate” pays homage to New York’s iconic pizzerias.

Personalised shopping and community representation

Gymshark will offer its personalised “1-2-1” shopping service to help athletes and fitness enthusiasts select gear tailored to their goals. Mannequins in the store are 3D-printed versions of real Gymshark community members and brand athletes, including Chris Bumstead and Analis Cruz.

Third-floor community hub and expansion timeline

The third floor will serve as a hub for community activations, hosting panel talks, athlete meet-and-greets, live podcasts, and Q&A sessions. The opening follows Gymshark’s first permanent U.S. store in Garden City, N.Y., and its U.S. headquarters launch in 2024.

Leadership perspective on gym and community

“In the entirety of Gymshark’s existence, two things have remained constant—the gym and community,” said Mitch Healey, Retail and Wholesale Director North America. “When you walk through the door, you know immediately that you are in a Gymshark store, and you feel the community vibe that this city is so famous for.”
