The International Tennis Federation has ruled that all the manufactures will enjoy twice the previous space allowed for their identification on the shirt sleeves of the players competing in the Grand Slams. Additionally, the space granted for brand identification rises to 4 square inches (26 square centimeters) on the front, back and collar areas and on the shorts and skirts. The new space requirements become effective with this year’s Roland Garros tournaments in Paris, but Adidas’s full-length Three Stripes will continue to be allowed until June 26 before full compliance with the new rulebook.
