The Bringback Collection pairs straight jersey reissues with crop silhouettes and lifestyle product, converting archive equity into margin-efficient revenue ahead of the World Cup cycle.

adidas has launched the FIFA World Cup Bringback Collection, reissuing national team jerseys from Belgium, Germany, Japan, Spain and Sweden spanning the 1980s to the 2000s. Seven designs are included, among them Germany’s 1990 Away, one of the brand’s most recognized football kits, and the 2014 Away worn during Germany’s title run in Brazil. The Germany Women’s 2007 Home jersey, tied to an unbeaten World Cup-winning campaign in China, is also part of the range.

The collection goes beyond archive reproduction. Crop jersey silhouettes for Germany, Japan and Spain sit alongside adidas Originals Culturewear pieces drawn from the same archive graphics, extending the drop into lifestyle territory.

Major tournaments reliably resurface collective memory, and nostalgia converts across generations, not only among older consumers who wore these kits the first time around. With the 2026 FIFA World Cup approaching, adidas is early to activate that demand, using archive equity to move product without the cost of performance innovation. Legitimate.
