Decathlon and Hologenix, a California-based textile innovator, are teaming up on an activewear set that uses infrared technology to support performance and recovery. This product launch marks the first fully commercialized integration of Hologenix’s Celliant infrared technology with Repreve Recycled Polyester technology. Celliant’s technology converts body heat into infrared energy, increasing local circulation and cellular oxygenation.
Hologenix explained that the new training shirt’s material is made from partially virgin polyester and partially recycled plastic bottles due to Celliant being embedded into Repreve Recycled Polyester fibers.
The latest activewear will be available at Decathlon stores in Europe and online. Decathlon and Celliant launched their first product, adult ski socks, in September.
