There is also a 15-meter running track with running analysis, a kids’ bouldering wall and a floor-spanning slide. On the fourth floor, the “Weitblick Lounge | Rooftop | Bistro” offers sustainable culinary specialties.

Marcel Hirscher, an eight-time Austrian World Cup winner who had been racing Atomic skis for 20 years, presented his new ski brand, Van Deer, at the opening ceremony. His first line of skis, made in Stuhlfelden near Kaprun at the Augment ski factory,“ with a first batch of 1,500 pairs per year, will be sold exclusively at some of Bründl Sports’ 31 locations in Austria. The retailer, which left Intersport two years ago, will also offer a new brand of outdoor lifestyle apparel, The Mountain Studio, developed by Hirscher together with the founders of Peak Performance, Stefan Engström and Peter Blom.
