The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has announced a total of 15 organizations and individuals that have just joined the Grassroots365 Innovation Incubation initiative, part of the Olympism365 Innovation Hub. These participants will be supported as they test ideas that use sport to drive social development in their communities. The Olympism365 Innovation Hub is a collaboration between the IOC, Beyond Sport and Women Win.

The 15 Grassroots365 incubators are: AirVitalize (US), Aquability (Egypt), Free Movement Skateboarding (Greece), Gastro Forestry Project (Indonesia), Hend Eldamaty (Germany), Join for Joy Zambia (Zambia), Leanda Taitt (Trinidad and Tobago), Lybotics (Libya), OceanFolx (Indonesia), Sense the Game (Algeria), SheFighter (Jordan), Somali Relief and Development Organisation (Somalia), Sports Initiative for Girls with Disabilities Rwanda (Rwanda), Young Achievement Sports for Development (Zimbabwe), and Youth and Women for Opportunities Uganda (Uganda).

The 15 participants will now embark on a six-month journey to further develop their ideas and turn them into concrete proposals. As part of this process, they will have access to an education program on how to design ideas, mobilize resources and measure the impact. They will also have the opportunity to learn from other innovators within the Olympism365 Innovation Hub. At the end of the process, they will be invited to apply for one of five US$15,000 grants to pilot their projects.
