Klarna, the Swedish supplier of ”buy now, pay later” online payment solutions, has entered a partnership with Verifone, a California-based provider of hardware products for payment processing, that will make Klarna available to millions of Verifone devices in the U.S. and Europe. The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has impacted shopping behaviors worldwide and the use of contactless payments in stores has increased rapidly according to a recent McKinsey report as consumers aim to avoid physical contact and contagion.
