Alasdhair Willis

Adidas has appointed Alasdhair Willis as chief creative officer. Willis has a long association with Adidas dating back to 2005, and he is also known for his work as creative director of the British brand Hunter and as co-founder of Wallpaper magazine. He was responsible for the concept and development of Adidas by Stella McCartney, together with his wife, Stella McCartney. Since the launch of the partnership, he has been instrumental in its growth and development. As CCO, Willis will lead the Adidas design community. He will be responsible for shaping, defining and directing the creative direction of the global brand and its three main labels – Performance, Originals and Sportswear – to create a unified Adidas brand experience. Willis will begin his contract in early April and reports to Brian Grevy, executive board member of global brands.
