Andrew Page has been appointed group CFO of Amer Sports and a member of the executive committee, effective April 20. Page reports to chairman and CEO James Zheng. He comes with three decades of leadership experience in finance and accounting. After starting his career in PwC’s audit group, he moved into financial control at GE and then served as chief accounting officer for Under Armour. Most recently, he served as CFO for Foot Locker. Zheng said he particularly values Page’s top-notch global finance function skills, direct-to-consumer transformation experience and extensive experience in the U.S. market, which he believes is a critical region for Amer’s growth.
Douglas Gilbert, who served as the interim CFO for 2 years and has been with Amer since 2010, has been appointed deputy CFO, SVP group finance, reporting to Page. Gilbert will continue to play a critical role in accelerating Amer Sports and providing continuity in financial management, operations and governance, the company said. He will also remain a member of the board of directors, which he joined in 2021.
