Uschi Horner
I am a journalist with a particular passion for financial topics. After studying sports economics and working initially at TM Börsenverlag and in corporate publishing at Yukom Medien, I gained in-depth knowledge of business reporting, including as a money and law editor at Gong Verlag and SAZ. As Head of Financial Content at SGI Europe, I support the company in its reporting on financial markets, companies, and economic developments. My goal is to present complex content clearly and concisely – fact-based, analytical, and always with a focus on the essentials.
My journalistic career began in a roundabout way – initially in the lifestyle department. There, I wrote about living, travel, food, DIY, and trends for many years. Today, I deliberately incorporate this keen eye for detail and reader interests into my financial reporting.
Despite numerous trips – from Argentina to Japan – I am deeply rooted in my homeland. Today, I live in the Rupertiwinkel region around Lake Waging, where my dog Ginny accompanies me every day – swimming, cani-trailing, or hiking. I am a curious bon vivant who likes to be surprised by life and enthusiastically discovers new markets as well as new trails in the mountains.
Facts with substance, stories with personality – that's what I stand for as a financial journalist.
