Progression Brands Group (PBG), a U.S.-based operator and distributor for several outdoor and winter sports brands, appointed sporting goods industry veteran Jeff Burkley to the newly created position of vice president. Reporting to CEO Ian Widmer, Burkley will be responsible for developing and leading commercial strategies across the company’s multi-brand portfolio which includes Capranea Apparel, Dahu Ski Boots, Movement Skis, YNIQ Eyewear and Crazy Apparel.

Most recently, Burkley was VP of sales, North America and South America at Spyder. Before that, he spent two years as the VP of sales, North America at Fischer Skis where he was responsible for all of North America’s sales operations across four divisions. While in that role, he strategically consolidated Uvex Sports, Inc. into Fischer. Previously, he also spent five years as VP of sales and marketing, North America at Uvex Sports, Inc.

PBG is headquartered in Minnesota, with an operating campus in Colorado, and team members based across North America and Europe.
