Peloton’s Chief Marketing Officer, Leslie Berland, has left her role at the fitness company to join telecom firm Verizon Communications. The move comes less than a year after Berland, who previously worked as CMO of Twitter (now X), joined Peloton in Jan. 2023.
Of her new role, Berland said in a press release from Verizon: “I can think of no better story to tell, and I’m thrilled to join a world-class team driving growth for the business, reinvigorating the customer experience and lifting up the communities in which we serve.”
In November, Peloton forecasted a full-year adjusted Ebitda loss of $25 to $75 million, higher than Wall Street’s expectation of a $25.3 million loss, sending Peloton shares down by nearly 8 percent in premarket trading.
