Annual sales hit an all-time high last year.
Bogner reports record sales for fiscal year 2023/24, which ended on March 31, totaling €187.6 million, up 6.8 percent from the previous year’s €175.6 million, itself up year-on-year by 5.6 percent. The German “athluxury” brand has in fact enjoyed steady growth in sales since the dip of the Covid year:
- 2023/24 – €186.7 million
- 2022/23 – €175.6 million
- 2021/22 – €166.3 million
- 2020/21 – €122.3 million (estimate)
- 2019/20 – €163 million
Adjusted Ebitda for the latest year amounted to €29.0 million (up from €22.7m) and adjusted Ebit to €12.6 million (up from €7.8m). Online sales were up by 15 percent, retail by 2 percent and wholesale by 8 percent.
The company opened new stores the US, the UK and France – specifically a store on New York’s Madison Avenue, another in London’s Mayfair and pop-ups and “partner concepts” in the French Alps.
Bogner spent the past year retooling product lines for its two brands, Bogner and Fire+Ice, bringing ready-to-wear and active sports “closer together” and otherwise focusing on jersey, knitwear and outerwear.
For the coming year, Bogner will be looking to expand both its retail operations – abroad and in its home market, the GSA – and strengthen its “omnichannel capabilities.” It says it is “working on the targeted optimization of processes.”
