Graeme Roustan, the former chairman of Bauer, is again threatening a hostile takeover of its parent company, Performance Sports Group. He says he is looking for partners to take the company private, claiming that it is pursuing a direct-to-consumer strategy that could be a threat to its existing customer base. Alternatively, he may engage in another proxy fight to win a seat on the board of directors, as he did last year. Roustan is demanding the ouster of the group's chief executive, Kevin Davis, but he would retain the rest of the senior management.
