In a sponsoring deal described as by far the largest agreed upon by a Chinese sports company in its own country, Li Ning, the leading domestic sportswear brand, will become sponsor of CBA, the Chinese Basketball Association, taking the place of Anta Sports. The new deal, which will run over five years, has been brokered by Infront, the league's marketing partner, which has just renewed its cooperation with CBA. All 17 clubs of the professional league will be fully equipped with Li Ning's gear including items such as jerseys, warm-up equipment, shoes and accessories. On top of this, the brand has received the right to develop apparel collections that will be sold not only in the brand's stores and through its website, but also at the league's venues.
