Social responsibility, sustainable production and technological innovation - how can these demands be combined? LTP Vietnam, the dynamic Vietnamese branch of the renowned Danish apparel manufacturer LTP Group, has just invested millions of euros to boost production efficiency with new innovative technologies, minimize its environmental footprint and, most importantly, take collaboration with partners to a new level.

As a leading manufacturer of performance garments for brands in cycling, outdoor and running, LTP has finalized the modernization of its Vietnamese facility, with a focus on technical innovation, high social standards and environmental responsibility. This investment plays a critical role in transforming the company’s manufacturing capabilities while maintaining its focus on sustainability.
Capacity: up to 54 production lines and 2.5 million units per year
A key part of the investment went into expanding production capacity. The upgraded Vietnamese facility now operates with advanced production lines, equipped with the latest machinery, enabling the production of up to 2.5 million units per year. These lines are organized into four distinct style categories for maximum specialization.

Strong relationships with the workforce
The highly skilled workforce, with an average of over five years of experience in their roles, ensures the highest standards of quality. “We are proud of the team we have built and the relationships we have developed over the years,” says Lars M. Overgaard, General Director Asia, LTP Vietnam. “Our new factory has undergone a massive upgrade, transforming it into a state-of-the-art facility. It now looks and operates like a brand-new factory, setting new standards for efficiency and innovation.”

Innovative design process with Style3D AI
Investments were also made in the digitalization of design and production processes. The company is among the first manufacturers globally to implement the Style3D AI system. By leveraging Style3D AI, LTP partners can generate producible finished products directly from sketches, significantly reducing sample-making costs. The precise 3D design allows for easy and accurate replacement of various fabrics, accessories, patterns, and printing effects. AI-empowered production enables the generation of precise patterns with a single click, accelerating the production process and creating BOM material lists. Additionally, AI smart commercial photography enhances the overall quality and efficiency of product imaging. This not only speeds up production but also enhances collaboration between LTP and its partners, enabling faster feedback and design iterations before physical samples are made.

Better cooperation: fast-track sampling
To increase local production efficiency and strengthen collaboration with brand partners, LTP has introduced a fast-track sampling service with a dedicated sampling room. “This service has been enthusiastically received by the partners and the sample development and production is possible within 5 days,” adds Lars M. Overgaard.

Streamlining procurement with a local material library
LTP has established an extensive network of suppliers throughout Vietnam and Asia, allowing the company to create a digital material library that is constantly updated with locally sourced fabrics and trims. This shortens production times and reduces customs costs, with duty reductions possible between EU and Vietnam due to free trade agreement. A newly upgraded quality assurance laboratory ensures that all materials and finished products meet international standards and the specific requirements of each market.
Commitment to sustainability and social responsibility including FLA membership
Sustainability is deeply embedded in LTP’s strategy. The company is working toward obtaining ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications and has invested in a photovoltaic system to reduce the carbon footprint of its products. LTP is also a member of the Fair Labor Association and holds certifications such as GRS, Higg Index (Verified), Amfori BSCI, Fair Wear, and Bluesign. All ESG data is readily available for use by partners in their own reporting.

LTP Vietnam’s commitment to sustainability, high social standards and innovate technology positions the company as a reliable and responsible partner in the future of garment production. As Lars puts it: “Like the whole LTP team, we’re extremely service-minded and always ready to ‘get it done’ - with precision, dedication and a commitment to excellence. Plus our location just 20 minutes from the airport is unique in the garment industry.”
