New Balance has launched its new global advertising campaign, using the slogan “Make excellent happen.” The company says it notes its running specialization while also emphasizing the innovation of the brand, and lets customers know that whatever they consider “excellent,” New Balance can help them achieve it. Two new products are being launched in connection with the campaign: the NB 890, a lightweight, cushioning running shoe; and the NB Minimum Trail, a barefoot-inspired running shoe. New Balance is tying the NB 890 to its own athletes, with the men's being named for the U.K. record-holder Andy Baddeley, and the women's for the American Jenny Barringer. The creative campaign was created by Arnold Worldwide of Boston, and will be spread in markets throughout North and South America, Europe, South Africa and Asia-Pacific.
