Nike says it has extended its sponsorship contract with Cristiano Ronaldo, the 31-year-old Real Madrid striker from the Portuguese island of Madeira. It didn't specify its planned duration, but according to TMZ, it could be a lifetime deal like the one with LeBron James, worth more than one billion dollars. Ronaldo has worn more than 60 pairs of Nike Mercurial cleats since he signed up with the Swoosh in 2003. His personal wealth is estimated at $320 million. He earned $88 million in 2015 from his salary and endorsements.
