Nike wants to make Sunday, Aug. 12, the “most active day” ever through its Nike+ digital ecosystem, which has more than 8.5 million members around the world. Nike is calling on everybody to engage in a “Greatness Is Ours” mission by sharing their activities and their achievements through the social media. They will then be displayed on the Nike+ Fuelstream, an online stream of imagery and consumers' comments. The company has created a motivational online hub, www.nike.com/gameonworld, for people to share their progress and success through various digital tools. The new program builds up on the “Find Your Greatness” campaign launched by Nike through YouTube on July 25, a few days before the London Olympic Games. The campaign moved to television in 25 countries two days later.
