At Design London 2022, taking place at Magazine London on Sept. 21-24, Adidas has organized an exhibition titled “Chasing Circularity.” The exhibits showcase the brand’s journey since the 2019 launch of Futurecraft.Loop, a corporate initiative that explores ways to make reusable products. The project has been working on a circular design, sourcing, production and recycling process that can be scaled to a wider range of Adidas products.

In addition to providing a look behind the scenes, the Futurecraft.Loop exhibit is introducing the latest products born of the project, marketed under the name ”Made to Be Remade”:

  • Adidas by Stella McCartney’s gender-neutral viscose tracksuit, a new recyclable piece made in collaboration with the 12 partners of the New Cotton Project
  • The Adidas Terrex Made to be Remade anorak, a recycleable insulated outdoor jacket created with 50 partners from the whole textile supply chain, announced in 2019 and now ready to go to market
  • Adidas’ Ultraboost shoe (premiered in 2019), which can be ground down and remade into new products, and Made to be Remade sportswear and running apparel

The panel event accompanying the exhibition was hosted by the sustainable fashion advocate Chante Joseph and featured the Infinited Fiber Company, a Finnish textile technology group that Adidas (alongside Bestseller and H&M) invested in last year.

The new products from the Adidas Made to be Remade collection will be available as of mid- to late October.
