The latest release from Adidas Originals continues its collaborative partnership with Wales Bonner. As with other collaborations between the sporting brand and designer Grace Wales Bonner, the collection is an ongoing “exploration of athletic codes.”
The apparel reimagines Adidas’ sporting legacy of the 70s through a selection of refined and elegant archival looks, with a knit set in mahogany brown alongside football shorts in sand-colored nylon.
Taking inspiration from the 90s, key pieces are rendered in a lightweight nylon fabrication, including a pale sky tracksuit with reflective piping and a black nylon top with a contrasting vivid green knit collar. All pieces are available in unisex sizing.
Also included is a footwear selection, with Wales Bonner’s signature take on the Adidas Originals Samba silhouette. Two looks incorporate faux pony-hair uppers and gum soles – one in leopard print, the other in a light tan colorway – while another set features suede overlays and signature contrast stitching.
The Adidas Originals by Wales Bonner Fall/Winter 2023 collection is available globally on November 8 at adidas.com, via Confirmed, and through select retailers.
