JD Sports is launching an interactive social media campaign, created in close partnership with TikTok’s Creative Lab, to support the release of Nike’s new Air VaporMax. Thanks to a 3D augmented reality branded effect, any TikTok user will be able to virtually superimpose the new shoes in three different colors and virtually try on a pair from home. The campaign is being launched as a branded hashtag challenge, #JDVaporMaxShuffle. Anyone using the hashtag can have a chance to win a year’s supply of Nike shoes. JD will be the first British retailer to launch this type of campaign through TikTok.
